Global Vision

At Viridian, sustainability means being concerned and socially responsible global citizens who are mindful stewards of our planet’s resources, ambassadors of renewable energy and caring friends to the people, creatures and ecosystems of other nations. We approach our global efforts with a holistic plan that considers the current realities of an area and the long-term viability of any solution.

With the help of GRID Alternatives, we brought 40 home solar systems to an off-grid community.

Reforesting the Amazon… one tree at a time
The Amazon represents over half of the planets remaining rainforests. Back in 2011, Viridian decided this hotspot for biodiversity was the natural place for us to begin our 7 Continents in 7 Years journey. Since that first trip, we’ve established our Amazon Preservation Project, a commitment to plant a total of 5,000 trees in deforested regions of the Amazon. In January 2016, a dedicated group of voluntourists will journey to Peru with nonprofit Camino Verde to reach our goal of planting 5,000 trees in the Amazon.
