Companies work together toward green construction

Adoba Eco-Hotels and Suites is a chain of hotels that focus on sustainability and creating environmentally friendly architectural designs. The company recently announced its partnership with Interface Hospitality to use their sustainable carpet tiles within all new hotel constructions.

The green construction of the carpet tiles, and the company’s willfulness to recycle old carpet after its life was a main selling point for Adoba. For design and decor of Adoba’s hotels, CEO James Hendersen says he encourages each property owner to use local and green products.
Charley Knight, Interface Hospitality vice president, said, "It's a win-win - the guests are responding well to the look and feel of the carpet tiles in the suites and the property managers appreciate the easy maintenance and long term value that using Interface Hospitality products brings them."

Adoba Eco Hotels are energy efficient and built to improve environmental health, and the health of people that say in their hotels. Rapid City, South Dakota is home to the first Adoba hotel, and three other locations are planned to open in Colorado and Texas. The current location is just down the road from Mt. Rushmore, and is ideal for travelers heading towards the monument.
