Illinois Home Base
We've secured an amazing home base for the Illinois market launch in a beautifully renovated home. 20 minutes from downtown Chicago, the house is at 1610 North Honore in Bucktown Illinois and has been voted the "Greenest Garage in Chicago".
The home is open for business for the entire 90-day launch period and there will be meetings held twice a day, Monday through Thursday at 6 PM and 8 PM. With white boards and flip charts galore and other tools for presentations, this is a perfect spot to build your business in Illinois. New York Market Expansion

So what do you need to know about these markets? A few details:

NYSEG and National Grid have different zones, similar to how Con Edison has New York City and Westchester. Customers in each of the different zones receive different rates. Think of these as sub-territories within the larger utility territory. NYSEG customers can see their zone here and National Grid customers can check their bill (Bill Sample).

The current enrollment process shows National Grid as “Niagara Mohawk” in step 1 of the customer enrollment process. “Niagara Mohawk” is an old name of the utility and is still part of the utility’s system structure. We are working to make this less confusing for customers, but for now, please coach your National Grid customers that they need to select Niagara Mohawk as their utility when enrolling.

We have new rates for June and even more helpful ways for you to use information about our value proposition to recruit customers and to coach your team to recruit customers. There are two helpful new formats: State-Specific Rate Flyers and the Rate Reference Sheet. These tools include a lot of information at a glance and will replace the current versions of our rate sheets and historical rate charts moving forward.

Each month we will provide you with a very simple spreadsheet-style tool that includes the utility rate, Viridian’s introductory Everyday Green rate, our current Everyday Green rate, Pure Green rate, average savings and environmental impact for every utility. One sheet is for residential rates and the other is for reference to commercial rate information. This comprehensive guide will be useful when talking to customers or Associates outside of your local territory and will also give you an insider’s glimpse into the depth and breadth of Viridian’s markets and how retail energy rates are looking in other states and territories. The sheet is a simple, clean spreadsheet and designed to be for your own quick reference.

Viridian University Launches June 21
Viridian University, Viridian’s new education and certification platform will launch on June 21. Please note that this date has changed from the previously announced June 14 date. All new Associates will have to become Viridian-certified before enrolling customers or sponsoring Associates, and all current Associates will have to become Viridian-certified by this fall in order to maintain commission eligibility.
