Market Updates

Rockland Electric:
Sussex and Passaic counties are still not part of Viridian’s New Jersey service territory. Remind your customers in those counties that service will be available once we are licensed in New York.

New Jersey Customer Eligibility Reminder:
New Jersey Customers must be caught up on their payments to the utility in order to be eligible for consolidated billing on Viridian’s service. If a New Jersey customer (commercial or residential) does not pay their balance for two consecutive periods, they will be dropped from Viridian’s service. If a customer is dropped from Viridian’s service for any reason, you will see their status change to “Dropped” in your Personal Customer Status Report.

Pepco:
Pepco is still in the pre-enrollment phase. These customers will remain in “Pending” status until the utility begins to accept enrollments, which is anticipated for the first week of October.

BG&E Bills:
Based on your feedback, we are investigating an option to show the rate on the BG&E charge calculations.

Marketing Materials: Remember to submit all marketing materials to compliance@viridian.com before sending out to your contacts.

Customer Enrollment Reminder:
Associates cannot enroll on behalf of a customer. This includes entering customer information on your Personal Website. Customers can enroll three ways:

  1. Enroll on your Personal Website (either going directly to your PWS address or find your PWS through the corporate site Associate Search)

  2. Fill out a Viridian-approved Customer Enrollment Form, which the Associate can fax, e-mail or mail to Viridian
  3. Call Viridian Customer Care (1.866.663.2508) and enroll over the phone with a representative

Congratulations! Viridian Officially Accepted as Member of the Direct Sales Association

We are proud to announce that Viridian is officially an active member and advocate of the Direct Selling Association (DSA), and abides by the association’s code of ethics.

Viridian completed a one-year pending period required for full membership in the association. During this time, Viridian’s marketing and business plans were reviewed to ensure full compliance with all provisions established by DSA’s Code of Ethics. Corporate Customer Enrollment Change Requests

Thank you for sending us your change requests. These will be processed over the next two weeks and all valid changes will be made by September 30th.

New Policy beginning Monday September 20th: You will have five business days from the day a customer enrolls to request that a customer who unintentionally enrolled on the corporate website be moved into your network. Requests can be made via e-mail to, askV@viridian.com or by calling Viridian Customer Care at 1.866.663.2508. Please review our Customer Change Request Policy.

It is still very important for customers to enroll directly on your website, but we know that preventing all errors is impossible. While we are excited to offer this service for all customer enrollments that end up enrolling on the corporate website, there is still no customer switching between Associate networks.
