The first annual Viridian PowerUP! 2010 Convention is now over—and perhaps the most valuable take-away from this milestone event was the electric feeling of urgency and excitement. This is only the beginning!

What a fantastic event. The passion, camaraderie and dedication displayed by all in attendance at this landmark convention has changed us forever (and for the better).

In fact, we had such a great time that we’ve already started prepping for next year’s convention. With the growth we’re experiencing, we’re going to have to rent out a football arena to fit all the Viridian Associates and customers into next year’s event.  (More below.)

For those who missed convention, we are sure you have been hearing the buzz from the 1,978 people who joined us in Atlantic City. Here’s a recap of what you need to know.

Certainly, one of the most exciting reveals at convention was the stunning new Viridian Starter Kits, given to all Associates who attended the event. This comprehensive kit is your go-to business tool, complete with new videos, presentation tools, the new compensation plan, educational training materials and more.

Moving forward, all Associates who signed up after October 17, 2010 will receive a starter kit upon enrolling. If you enrolled before the 17th and did not attend convention, we are happy to send you your kit. Email askv@viridian.com with “New Starter Kit Request” in the subject line. New Compensation Plan:

Another remarkable announcement at PowerUP! 2010 was the new Viridian Compensation Plan. We are thrilled with the new plan. We listened to your input, made changes you suggested, and we now have the most impressive and rewarding compensation plan in the industry.

The new plan includes new rank names, new rank advancement requirements, reallocation of funds to better support your long-term growth, and rewarding rank advancement bonuses. The new plan was designed to accurately reflect the growth of the company while creating better rewards for the fantastic results our Associates are getting. The new Viridian compensation plan is easy-to-understand, and increases your earning potential.

The new compensation plan will be effective on the November commission run. This means the new plan will reflect October’s utility records, and will be paid on the 5th day of November 2010.

Viridian Founder and CEO Michael Fallquist closed the show at PowerUP! 2010. In his final speech he announced all the exciting new market updates planned for Viridian in the near future. In Pennsylvania, you will be able to start enrolling customers November 22nd in the Duquesne and PECO markets. The opening of these markets, in addition to the PPL market, means Viridian will provide service to nearly 80% of the Pennsylvania market.

To give you all a little extra incentive to grow these markets, Mr. Fallquist announced the “The Pennsylvania Pre-Launch BLITZ” for the Duquesne and PECO markets.

This one’s simple. Simply build your business by signing up customers in these two new markets and you make bonus money. You receive $100 for every 10 customers enrolled between November 22nd and January 1st.

There is no limit to the number of bonuses you can receive during this time, so let’s really kick-off these new markets with a bang.

All customers must be qualified by January 31, 2011.

The coolest part about this Blitz is that the opening rate for these utilities makes this a real “no-brainer.”
