Viridian Energy Sponsors Community Beach-Clean Up in Westport for Earth Day

 

April 20, 2010. STAMFORD, CT– Viridian Energy, an environmentally focused retail electricity provider, will be hosting a corporate beach clean-up day at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, CT this Friday April 23, 2010. Viridian has partnered with Save the Sound, a program of the Connecticut Fund for the Environment, to organize the event, which coincides with the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.

 

Viridian will be closing its corporate offices during the event to allow all of its employees and independent sales associates to assist in the beach clean up. The company welcomes the local community to come help in the clean-up effort: general attendance costs $20, which covers cleaning materials, lunch and an event T-shirt.
