Joe O -- Viridian 2.0; It’s Coming
Recently there’s been much talk within the field about Viridian 2.0, or the new era of Viridian that is around the corner that will propel us to the next level. So today, I want to spend some time talking about how Viridian 2.0—specifically the technology improvements that are on their way—will elevate our brand.
For the past five or six years, Viridian—like all startups—has been finding its way. And along the way we’ve enjoyed some incredible milestones. Going public, which happened in 2012, was a huge achievement for our company and was difficult to do. But going public has allowed us to make investments in new technology that will really add gasoline to the fire.
As many of you know, we will soon be able to take advantage of a new Associate dashboard. It comes with quite a few bells and whistles and this cutting-edge software will allow us to keep track of our business in real time.
I think this technology will be impressive to new prospects. I’ve seen firsthand how prospects light up about our videos, which are without question first-class in the industry. So one of the best things we have done on the prospecting front is create a rich library of videos. Pretty soon, we will have Associate reporting technology that will complement the videos nicely.
It’s amazing the success we have had to date with our existing software but now that we are going to have best-in-class, industry-leading technology, the sky is the limit. The new technology vendor we are working with has dozens of years experience in network marketing, reporting and commissions. In other words, we are getting a top-notch software vendor. Everything is in the works and the future is bright.
I know it sounds clichéd, but it’s never been a better time to get involved in Viridian. Every month that goes on, people become more and more interested in solar and the green energy movement. What’s more, over time we see a rising number of Associates advance in rank which means we have an ever-growing number of Viridian success stories to brag about.
So as you go out and prospect, remind new recruits that they didn’t have to be with us in the early days to get started now. In fact, you are better off getting in today or next week or next year because Viridian now has the technology to support your growth. I am confident in stating that there will be people who sign up in this business in the next six months who will far surpass me and Frank in terms of total number of customers enrolled and wealth.
When I think about how to define Viridian 2.0, I define it as a time in this company’s journey in which everyone can have the confidence to recruit up, or find the smartest, most driven individuals to recruit. Technology is always a challenge for every company. Even the New York Stock Exchange closed down for three hours in July; that same day United Airlines had a glitch. But with Viridian 2.0 we can now brag that we are going to have the best technology in the businesses that can reduce the likelihood of little glitches that can ruin momentum.
