JIM HENNIGAN: FOCUSING ON THE POSITIVES TO CREATE SUCCESS
Associate Spotlight December 2013
Jim was introduced to Viridian through his longtime friend, Executive Director Sean Ahearn. “Sean walked into my office and told me to type ‘ViridianPresentation.info’ into my computer.
I watched the Viridian introduction video and I was totally intrigued by the whole concept. Sean spoke with me about my questions and also connected me with brothers (and Diamond Partners) Brenden and Ed Kenny who helped address my questions further. Brenden spent a few hours with me and by the time he left, I was so excited to get involved.”
Jim enrolled in February 2012 and immediately set to work building his team and introducing others to the power of Viridian. Four months before his home state of Massachusetts had even gone live, Jim was already hard at work laying the foundation for future success by enrolling 12 Associates in just his first few months.
Jim was initially drawn to the excitement and the challenge of building his Viridian business, looking to his network leaders as models for hard work and success. “I’m a very goaloriented person. I make a goal and set out to achieve it. Once I meet my goal, I set another. It’s my intention to be a leader in this organization, and I’m very committed to it. Like anything in life, there are ups and downs. But if you focus on the positives and stick with it, that’s what creates success.”
Jim’s hard work is only matched by his appreciation for his team, his mentors and the associations he has built through Viridian’s community of likeminded individuals.
“This company is so much more than green energy. There is an incredible culture within Viridian. We have a great team – we’re good friends and so supportive of each other. The first thing I do every morning is look at my team and see who is moving up and achieving goals. It’s so rewarding to see that happen. And it’s not just within our team; that support extends to other lines and teams in our area. It’s been exciting to meet so many positive, committed, likeminded individuals.”
Jim is also grateful for the financial security afforded him through Viridian. “When I was first exposed to Viridian, in the back of my mind, I was looking for extra resources to send my kids to college. It goes a lot deeper than that, though. Viridian has given me the opportunity to spend more time with my family and do things as a family we may not have been able to do. That’s my ‘why.’ They’re my ‘why.’”
